Am I the only one appalled the soda and sugar industry is running ads asking me to contact congress and ask them not to tax soda and fruit drinks? That the additional taxes would make it harder for kids to enjoy their simple pleasures?!

I'm tempted to call my congressman and ask them to double the proposal. Not only because the soda industry has the gall to run the ads, but that they also have the extra money to fund it!

I have decided to call my congresspeople AND to add comments to the soda companies facebook pages decrying them for spening money on simple pleasures. How's that for civil disobedience?
