Team in Training has a great program that will get your ready to run a marathon in 3 - 5 months depending on your current level of fitness.

Take a beginning Yoga class so you learn proper form. Focus on the balance between your body and your mind. Only do as much as your body will allow without pain. Strength and flexibility will come in time.

just to move your hand in all direction.
do this daily 1-2 hours so this will make relax to your hand.
